Excel

Excel is a Gym for All (GFA) competitive program where the athletes (girls and boys) progress through a levels program and compete in local Recreational Excel competitons.

Children usually come into the programme from the Recreational GFA classes at the recommendation of coaches to the Advanced GFA Head Coach. If your child shows interest in wanting to take gym more seriously and is interested in competing please contact us and your child can be assessed for entry into the programme.

Our EXCEL competitive program allows gymnasts to compete the same progressions from beginning through high level skills that the Competive Gymnastics program does, but allows for flexibility and substitution at each level.  As a result, it can be done on a one to two day a week commitment, with shorter training sessions, and allows for gymnasts to progress at different rates on different apparatus.

Our Competitive Gymnastics and EXCEL competitive pathways are coordinated.  Gymnasts can move between programmes each year as best suits them and their gymnastics development, interest, and commitment.
