Our Gymnastics Classes

Preschool Gymnastics (Walking – 5 years old) – Playgym Explorers and structured classes where preschoolers can climb, jump, roll, and discover gymnastics in a fun and safe environment, developing coordination, fundamental movement, balance, coordination and confidence through play.

Gym for All (Age 5 – Teens) – Recreational gymnastics programme that focuses on skill-building in a fun and structured way, with gymnasts working through our HVG badge system as they progress on floor, bars, beam and trampolines.

Adults Gymnastics (18+ years) – It’s never too late to flip and fly! Whether you're a beginner or returning to the sport, our adults gymnastics classes focus on skill development, strength and flexibility, while training at your own pace to achieve your goals.

Excel – GFA Competitive Programme – Excel is the stepping stone between Gym For All and competitive gymnastics. Excel is designed to challenge gymnasts with new skills in a low-pressure, fun environment, requiring less time and financial commitment than traditional competitive gymnastics. Gymnasts in the Excel programme train towards competing in local competitions.

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) – The WAG competitive programme trains female gymnasts in the four olympic apparatus: vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor. Athletes train towards regional, national, and international competitions, progressing through the Gymnastics New Zealand STEP's programme.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) – Gymnasts in the MAG competitive programme train in the six olympic apparatus: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar. With an emphasis on power, agility, and strength, athletes train towards regional, national and international competitions, progressing through the Gymnastics New Zealand Level's programme.
