Ignite Cheerleading Teams

Cheerleading at Hutt Valley Gymnastics is split into two different types of teams:

• Recreational Cheerleading
• Competitive Cheerleading

Recreational Cheerleading

Fireflys - age 5-6 years old

Firecrackers - from 7 years old

In our recreational cheerleading programme, athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun, safe and supportive environment, without the time and financial commitment of a competitive team. Both Fireflys and Firecrackers run once a week during term time and will work towards an exciting performance at the Ignite Showcase and Ignite Prizegiving each year.
