Ignite Tumbling

Tumble with Ignite is learning how to land with style, find fun meeting new friends and develop self-confidence, discipline, and tumble skills.

Our tumble programme is perfect for those amazing talents who want to learn or develop great skills, we have five different levels according to your necessities or requirements.

Each class lasts 60 minutes. The difference levels are detailed below: These are term based classes - we welcome new members any time during the term.

FOUNDATIONS

Foundations is our introductory level, the main goal in the class is to become comfortable in the gym while learning  basic body positions and motor skills to be successful in the future.

SKILLS:

  • Confidence & discipline.
  • Motor skills, coordination, balance & control.
  • Control of jumps, landing.
  • Introduction to different surfaces: tumble-track, air track.
  • Forward roll. 
  • Backwards roll. 
  • Introduction to cartwheel.
  • Introduction to handstand: L handstand.
  • Bridge
  • Tumble Basic body shapes.

NOVICE

In Novice level the skills requirement are taken a little bit more serious, in this level we will develop more strength and body control to be ready for the next level, while losing the fear of executing skills going backwards: eg. Back limber, Bridge kick over.

SKILLS:

  • Back limber.
  • Handstand.
  • Bridge kick over.
  • Cartwheel.
  • Cartwheel snap.

LEVEL 1

Back walkover and Front walkover are the first skills when we will need all the body control we learned on the past levels, and we will introduce the amazing Back Handspring a tumbling move where we take off from two feet, jumps backward onto our hands and land on our feet, this will be the introduction to this skill and it will be executed over the barrel.

  • Back Handspring over the barrel

LEVEL 2

Self-confidence is crucial at this level, skills are getting more and more difficult and we will be training a little bit harder our technique, perfection before progression is one of our rules in this level.

  • Back Handspring.
  • Front Handspring.
  • Front Flyspring on the air-track.
  • Round off – Back Handspring.
  • Back Handspring series on the tumble track.

LEVEL 3 +

Time to fly, in this level we will flipping in the air doing some front and back flips, of course with the proper technique, in this level we will also learning more difficult skills and amazing combinations of them.

  • Front tuck step out – Tumble combination.
  • Arabians.
  • Layout.
  • Running tumble skills combination.
